My luggage from Taiwan trip isn't unpacked yet, and now... there is still stuff from my Korea trip. Thing is, I din get to buy a lot of stuff at all. Only a pair of boots and a top. How sad is that? Bet I will go bankrupt if we weren't on tour... ;p Things are not exactly cheap there but boy! They sure do dress up! I love all their uniforms too! And truth be told, their guys are better looking than the girls. Not sure if the guys did plastic though. Oh ya... And they are tall too! ;p
There is so much left to do! Guess I will only have enough time to update on my Korea trip? Other pictures will have to take a back seat. I have to make time to clear my wardrobe too. Either clear some OR to get another wardrobe. My clothes can no longer fit in the wardrobe despite the fact that I've already folded them, and that I have like 8 stacks of clothes below the hanging half? bwah. Someone kill me. And I still have stuffs that I am selling but haven had time to list them online. God. Please help me.
Took bout 4 hours to upload the following photos. Ain't an easy task considering there were bout 1100 photos in total (800 plus on my side and 300 plus from Jolene)! And guess what? I was there for 5 days only?
On the way to Seoul...

haa... I did my mask on board. LoL! Some friends nearly died laughing when they saw the picture of me with the mask on my face. haaz!

After a 6 hours flight...
To Nami Island

We had to take a ferry over, and boy, is it cold! They have like little fires or warmers thingy all over the place so people will not freeze to death...

of me taking photos of cussie jolene...

Nami nami nami~

So cute~ Btw, I din spoil the door...
It was already spoilt. =i

A bit early but yea,
Happy New Year!!
Oh ya, and this...

Something bout Pei Yong Jun, the Winter Sonata thingy...
And something that got me really happy!!

... sweet corns and sweet potatoes...!
The sweet potatoes are damn nice la! But the sweet corn tasted like rubber...
What a bummer... =c
Something that constantly kept us high...

haa.. Squirrels!! And this particular one looks startled!
They are super cute la! I really really wanna bring one back can? But I think it will feel rather stuffy here... bwah.

and this, is the people I went Korea with.
The aunts and 1 uncle, and cussie and friends.
Together with bout 7 more family? And hence making up a total of 40 people.
Before we leave the island...

... a bronze statue of a girl looking out to sea...
And our first meal in Korea!

We're in DanYang, and this, is my favorite of all!
It has vegetables, 粘糕, chicken, potato strips, and when you are bout done, you can add rice to it and it is really REALLY very nice!! And I tried my 菜包饭!! I tell you! It is shiok!!
Apparently, Andrew told me you can only find this in the suburban area and it is quite impossible to find it in Seoul city area.
And oh... Not available in Singapore, yet.
Our first hotel...

I tell you, it is pure happiness for me when I step into the room.
Not only do I have a comfortable living room,

I have a fully equipped kitchen..

With everything I need, including a rice cooker!
A nice clean washroom...

And! The bedroom!!

It is tatami style where you got to lay your own beddings!
I like!!
On our way to the AquaWorld...

with cussie Jolene...

And mummy...
There is a rather huge swimming pool but we are not interested in that! Rather, I was more interested in the outdoor hot spring. OMG. Can you imagine, we had to run to the spring, and the outside temperature is like 0 degrees? It must have been a sight when the people inside the spring saw 7 mad women screaming and running towards the spring! *grin*
It was freezing but the moment you get into the hot spring, it is pure heaven. ;p
There are various hot springs available, like coffee, lemon, mineral etc. But I think my favorite is the outdoor one. Pity the doctor fish thingy is closed when we were there. Will have to go to the Singapore one I guess... sigh.
Our next meal is also quite shiok la.

But nothing beats the first!

haa.. Nice hor? Reminds me of fireworks!

Our first Christmas tree!
I can't believe how people keep saying Singapore has the nicest Christmas decorations ever? The trees and decors that I saw there are really nice! And I even say a tree made up of robots! Too bad, we were on the move and I couldn't get my camera out in time to snap it. =i
Me and my bright idea!

This is what too much Korea drama does to you! I was looking for 炸酱面, 辣炒黏糕, and the moment I saw the rice cooker in the room, I keep bugging my mum to cook instant noodle for us!
yay!

Mummy and her look-like-cabbages flowers!
At least the bus journeys are better than Taiwan's.

The longest I ever sat in Taiwan was 8 hours and the longest is only 2 hours for Korea!
*big grin*
Our lunchy~

Some yellow fishy steamboat, completed with lots of bean curd!
The yellow fishes!

Product of airing it for a year... duh!
haa... Guess what am I doing?

The girls and I have been trying to capture images of us breathing out "smoke"...
And you can tell that our efforts are in vain. =i
Day 2 at the ski resort in 龙平...

Snow! Half of which is man-made...
And lookie here!

The kid is damn cute la!! Pulling a sledge that is bigger than him!
Nice weather...

While in the cable car...

I forgot the exact height at which we were at. =x
And I so love the snowy ground.

Apparently it snowed the night before...
And the ground was lightly dusted with snow...
Skiing was fun! And I am glad that my ice-skating skills came in handy! I can ski and brake properly, without falling down can? So happy! Gonna try it again! ;p
At the lobby...

Big X'mas Tree with 2 huge teddies that kids can't stop hugging!
In our skiing gears

with cussie jolene...
Completed with the skis

And man, cause the younger ones don't wanna go too far up, we forgo taking the ski cable. And ended up trekking up the hill, took us like 20 minutes to reach half way there and like 5 seconds to ski down?! OMG!
So not worth it right?
And we came in the midst of some winter fair...

And these 2 giants are damn funny!
I think they should go find a disco, like fast?
Hee... And!

I found my marche cow there! And it is much prettier!
;p
Can you tell I had like leggings, stockings and 2 pairs of socks inside my jeans?
Bwah!
And and! Before checking out...

Found a funny phone along the road, and YES! It is snowing!!
It started snowing the night before and all of us came out in out PJs and slippers, and the aunties gave up and went back for their jackets! Really funny! The girls were really happy, ad Estee ran along the corridor shouting, "Its snowing!" while randomly knocking on people's door! OMG!

Snow snow... I like! And it is not so cold when it is snowing...

Hence I can afford not to put on my jacket... hehe~

My mummy hugging me so tightly... haaz~
And this!

I like it so much!
Its the only one that is of me alone.
But it is blurry... Arghh!

Nice lo...

We love it so...

Everything is so lightly dusted with snow... ;p
At Everland...

Pretty glad that it stopped snowing though... Seems like it snowed enough for us to see and play with and not interfere with our programme...
Their uniforms are all really nice...

And I love the radiators... ;p

See see!

And this is awfully cute!
And the first stop is to the Safari World!

We are able to observe the animals from inside the bus, much better than night safari cause the animals really come to the bus, and all thats between us is a pane of glass...
The first to actually breed Li-ger - combination of tiger and lion...

Looks like a lioness but with strips... The male is sleeping unfortunately... =i
Doesn't this remind you of Yogi Bear?

They can be told to wave, sit, stand up and walk over! Omg! And their rewards?
Biscuits! haa

I looked like I've been cut and pasted into this photo...
And guess what sent me running?

Lambs!!
And moomoo!

long fur moomoo!

We just can't resist... =x

Took the cable car to and fro, from one end to the other...

See see! Lightly dusted with snow... The way I like it.
So 幸福!

She is starting to learn how to cam whore with me... haa!
The two...

in their matching jackets...
and me?

yea... I wish, but it ain't mine...
And guess what? Gluttony me had ice cream!

Grape favored!
And the best part is that!
It DOESN'T melt.... at all!!
With the mascot...

and I found a shop...

sheepo leh! ;p
And afters,

The famous Korean BBQ!
And its off to do some shopping!

They push each other to get around, and this kinda irritates my aunt. Bwah. I am lucky... Din get pushed around, even if I did, I think I wouldn't notice at all...
My dinner~

Ginseng Chicken!! And their mee sua is super nice!
The kind that I will crave for when I am sick and want something light...
Our bus driver looks like someone from the mafia.
He is always dressed in black...
Saw him flaring up before... haa!
But he is very nice, he will pick us up at the risk of getting a ticket, just so that we don't have to walk so far to the bus. And he teaches me a new word everyday! He said the first time, "a-nyo-ga-sai-yo?" and when I gave him a blank look, he started to pat his tummy. We just had lunch you see... ;p

And he took this for me...
Very sad leh... Forgot to take a picture of him... bwah
And breakfast the next day is really shiok!

Buns with dumplings...

Mee sua!
Oh! I realized why they are able to slurp their noodles, coz I managed to do it there. In SG, I'll burn my tongue whenever I try to do it. But there, it is so cold that the noodle cooled by the time it touches my lips!

And porridge to go along~
We had kimchi-making lesson...

where we have to put on a apron...
The ingredients...

the kimchi that we are making will be sent to either orphanage or old folk's home... ;p

And we get to try on their traditional costume afters!

Just look at us!
And I had "2 sons"! =x

Damn cute hor! Meet Nicholas and Jarden.
They are not twins btw, not even related! They are just friends! Can you believe it?!
And our "daughter" Chloe!

So cute!! OMG!
The kids...

Cussie Jolene looks so proper!

And lookie at me!

Wah lao! Looks like a mother to me.... Especially after I look at the photo with the 2 boys... =_=!!!
Our lunch!

Quite shiok too! My fav rice of all!
And I look greedy!

Grew to love kimchi too!
Shopping afters near Sinchon Station

Just did a bit of walking around and got myself another pair of boots!

A very happy me!

Saw a band playing too! They are not bad! Think they are trying to make a video or something... The cameraman keep pushing the camera up their face la. Aiyo!
Next up! Doota Shopping Center!

It is like... Every different floor sells different things i.e. 2 for ladies, 1 for men, 1 for bags and shoes, 1 for kids etc... And not cheap... Cause they kinda support their local brands? Like Japan lo. Ya. But I believe if you were to look hard enough, you will be able to get some really good bargains...

Them freezing while waiting for the rest...
And me?

I am smart la! Got my 辣炒黏糕! And it tastes better there plus, it warms your tummy, well, and hands too I guess...

wah...

haa~ I like! Their lightings are actually quite nice lo!
Dinner~ Hot Stone Rice Bowl with shabu shabu...

Looks yummy hor?
And it is lo!

I polished off every single thing la!
The final hotel we stayed at is super! Pity we couldn't shop nearby...
But we can still shop at their convenience shop!!

Which we did!
And we bought lotsa food!

And instant noodle!
The uncle grew accustomed to us and when he realized the next day that we are leaving, he gave us free cakes!
I think he misses us!
Hiaks!
At the door before checking out...

oh! In my new top. A fleece jacket that cost 16SGD? ;p
Must camwhore more before leaving...

Uncle thought I am gonna develop these photos, and he always shake his head when he see us camwhoring... =x

whee~
To Lotte World we go!

Looks like some kinda caravan thingy...
The outdoor theme park...

We stayed indoor the whole while though...

The place is huge...
Don't think we have enough time to go through the place...

We only have like 1.5hrs?

We tried this...

Not bad lo... No diff from being on a train I guess?

This makes me high la..
Very 梦幻 lo!
And this sample!

is made of real ice!
With the mascots~

And then to the carousel...

OMG right?!

Pity they don't have the carriage one...
I saw a real horsy pulling a carriage on the road, but din get to try. =c
While leaving...

So cute lo! There is a loudspeaker, and apparently, it is supposed to be snowing very lightly on the day we left...
Love this picture of Jolene...

can use as wallpaper lo!
And I convinced her to do something silly with me...

awww~ So sweet la~
hee~

Our last lunch in korea - some tunghoon steamboat thingy!
Must take more photos with them!

My dear nic had his eyes closed cause the sun was in his eyes...
bwah!
But they keep sticking to me. And it got quite funny actually...

This silly boy came to me and said, 'Jie jie, my mummy wanna take a photo of you."
And later, the mum said that he went up to her and asked, "Mummy, do you wanna take photo of her?" And when the mum disturbed his by asking who is the her, he went, "There! The HER lo... You know the HeEEeERRRRR" LoLZ!! All of us burst out laughing! And he promptly went to hide.
So I took a picture with his sister first, and the cheeky boy ran over, sat on my laps and began posing for his picture!
duh!!

And this pretty much conclude my stay in Korea~

Slept 2/3 of the journey home...
And thanks to Dino Jeff who came to pick us up!

Kudos to 5 years of friendship (and still counting!)
